ABOUT THE RESTAURANT

The Severny restaurant is one of the oldest restaurants in Petrozavodsk with a history stretching back for more than half a century. The last reconstruction was carried out in 2012 - the interior of the restaurant was completely renovated and the own brewery was constructed. The restaurant is located in the very centre of the city and has long become a popular meeting place for citizens, tourists, artistic spirits, businessmen and guests of the city, has convenient transport links to all parts of the city. Within a 15-minute walk at a leisurely pace from the restaurant, there are railway and river stations, airport ticket offices, theatres and cinemas, the Onega Lake embankment, and many shops. Near the restaurant there is a guarded car park and a taxi rank.


The restaurant is designed for 350 visitors. Gourmets love its cuisine (European, Russian, Karelian and specialties), music connoisseurs are attracted by the live sound, businessmen by comfort and style, suitable for both leisure and business meetings. In addition, the restaurant's large lounge is equipped with multimedia screens allowing you to watch music programs, news and sports broadcasts.


In addition to the large hall, the Severny restaurant has 6 banquet halls. One of which is decorated in the national Karelian style, where you can hold a business meeting, a mini-banquet, a family celebration in a cozy and at the same time solemn atmosphere.

In this banquet hall you can see what the dining area looked like in a real Karelian hut. The hall was built from a unique material, a genuine suharnik (Karelian dead-standing pine; a tree that fell asleep as a result of natural factors). You can spend time in the abundance of antique exhibits that you can touch and photograph, and the distinctive smell of wood adds a sense of warmth and cosiness.


A complete collection of pleasures will be to try the national cuisine. In our menu you can find a "Karelian cuisine” section.

Since ancient times, dishes from fish, meat of wild animals and, of course, such forest gifts as mushrooms and berries have occupied the first place on the tables of Karelians.

In 2012, a private factory for the production of a live, beloved folk drink was solemnly opened.

Production is carried out according to the Austrian technology, and true connoisseurs know that Austrian technology is considered one of the best in the world. Full control over on-line production is carried out by technologists from Austria. At the moment we are brewing three types of Radabeer beer.

Beer is stored, depending on the temperature, on average from twenty to thirty days.

Today, our "live" beer is sold not only in the local network "Lotos", but also at the federal level in the retail chain "Azbuka Vkusa", "LAND", "Spar" and others.
On June 19, 2018, our brewery received the conformity mark of the Made in Karelia Voluntary Certification System.
SEVERNAYA HOTEL
Severnaya hotel is located in the very centre of the city of Petrozavodsk. This is the only hotel in Petrozavodsk, which is both an architectural historical landmark of the city and meets all modern standards. A tremendous reconstruction has recently been carried out - the interior of the central hall, the restaurant and the number of rooms have been renovated.
